September 2006, Couture Fashion Week in New York City will kick off with a
stunning runway show of the latest collection by talented up-and-coming designer Gaynell
Benjamin. The fashion show is scheduled to take place at 3:30
p.m. on Wednesday, 6 September 2006 at the West Side Loft, 336 West 37th Street
(between 8th and 9th Avenues - in the heart of the Fashion District)
New York City.

A native of the Bahamas, Gaynell Benjamin's early career aspiration was to be a doctor. Soon after beginning her medical studies, however, she had a compelling vision of her future as a fashion designer - a vision which changed her life. She soon enrolled in fashion design and merchandising courses in Florida and will be graduating in 2007.
