Fashion week or Fashion Week New York, is a loose term for all the fashion shows that take place in New York City twice a year. The Fashion Week Spring collections are shown in September and the Fall collections in February. The Fashion Week runway shows are spread out over many venues and organized by sevearl production companies. During Fashion Week, some designers produce their own shows at their ateliers or in their showrooms, while others work with experienced show producers.
