Milena Dobreva Brings Cutting Edge Fashions to New York

(February 28, 2005. New York City). Milena Dobreva, one of the most creative and edgy fashion designers to come along in quite some time, will make her U.S. debut March 13 in New York City. Coming to the United States from her native Bulgaria by way of London, Ms. Dobreva is an up-and-coming young fashion and costume designer whose abundant talent and skills keep her in high demand for theatrical productions and videos.

Designer Milena Dobreva will show her designs during the runway fashion show to be held on Sunday, March 13, 2005 as part of USA INTERNATIONAL FASHION SHOWS' popular "Champagne Fashion Brunch" series. The event will be held at Jimmy Sung's, 219 East 44th Street, (between 2nd & 3rd Avenues), New York City.

Ms. Dobreva studied fashion, literature and theatre in Bulgaria, Germany and England, and has worked for such fashion and entertainment notables as Vivienne Westwood, Kim Bowen, George Michael, Roksanda Ilinchich, and Paul Seville. Her most recent project was creating the costumes for a dance production at London's Royal Albert Hall.

"I am absolutely delighted to have this opportunity to show my designs in the United States," says Ms. Dobreva. "I want to show what I can do to the world." With her cutting edge fashions ranging from elegant evening womenswear to theatrically-inspired clubwear incorporating light effects, large format prints, thin silicon rubber, reflective fabrics, leather and silk satin, Ms. Dobreva's show promises to be a memorable fashion event in the Big Apple.
