With a degree in Fashion Design and Fashion Merchandising Management from the prestigious Fashion Institute of Technology, Lilia Berzon spent over 10 years working for such major fashion companies as the Express, Victoria’s Secret, Phillips-Van-Heusen, and DKNY as well as being an Associate Fashion Editor for Inside Fashion magazine.

Lilia’s designs are influenced by her Russian background, with discipline and certain points of style taught here. Lilia gained new insight into the world of costume design while working with European dressmakers at Aral Studio responsible for the costumes for Broadway shows such as Mama Mia, Aida, 42nd Street, Rent, and Hairspray, among many others.

In 2002 Lilia launched her own label. Her first collection, entitled “Edgy Classics,” was chosen to be part of the Young Designers showcase in New York. Lilia's next milestone was the presentation of her exclusive eveningwear and bridal collection at a spectacular gala event held in the grand setting of the Permanent Mission of the Russian Federation to the United Nations. Since then, Lilia's designs have been featured in the Miss Model Universe Competition as well as the Miss Russian New York 2005 pageant. The popularity of Lilia’s creations has landed her guest TV and radio appearances on fashion programs and her collections and shows have been mentioned in Time Out New York, New York Daily News, Paper Magazine, Bay News, Russian Bride of New York, and Brideus.com. In November 2004 Lilia Berzon was nominated for Fashion Group International's Rising Star Awards.

Lilia also is a favorite of many made-to-order couture eveningwear and bridal clients in New York City.
