At a recent private party in Dallas, fashion show producer Andres Aquino announced that Couture Fashion Week will be expanding to that stylish city beginning in February 2010. International designers participating in the world-renowned event will now have the opportunity to show their latest collections in both New York and Dallas, as well as other selected markets as the event continues to grow.
When asked “Why Dallas?”, Mr. Aquino replied “Because Dallas is one of the country’s most important centers of style and sophistication with a large population of upscale fashion-conscious consumers. We are excited to be bringing a series of original highly creative fashion shows to Dallas.”
Couture Fashion Week Dallas will be held February, 2010 at the historic Union Station which recently underwent a $23 million renovation. Receptions with culinary delights by famed Wolfgang Puck Catering will serve as the perfect complement to the fashion shows and entertainment. Under the direction of Mr. Aquino, the CFW team consists of top makeup artists and international hair stylists, gorgeous models and experienced technical staff.
Couture Fashion Week New York will be held at the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria February 12-14, 2010. That event will also include the Couture Fashion Week Ball on Saturday evening, February 13.
Launched in 2003, Couture Fashion Week is a multi-day event showcasing couture and luxury fashion. It also includes exhibits of luxury brands and fine art as well as world-class entertainment and receptions.
