Couture Fashion Week Partners with D.I. Moda Athena

In its continuing expansion efforts into selected markets around the globe, New York-based Couture Fashion Week is please to announce its recent partnership and representation in Greece by D.I. Moda Athena.

D.I. Moda Athena is affiliated with prestigious brands, including Athens Exclusive Designers Week, making it a perfect match for Couture Fashion Week. Both organizations are looking to benefit from mutual exchanges and co-representations.

Athens Exclusive Designers Week is an international fashion event held twice a year that promotes some of the best Greek fashion designers and their creations at both national and international levels. Past event sponsors include the Greek Ministry of Tourism, ESEE (National Association of Greek Commerce), EBEP (Association of Commerce and Industry of Piraeus), SELPE (Association of Greek Retailers), SEVE (Exporting Association of Northern Greece), Sephora, Ford, Kodak, Alterna, Cointreau, World Fashion, and Intercontinental Hotels among others.

Some international collections presented at the last shows in Athens were: Frank Muller, Krizia,  Roberta di Camerino, Masha Sharoeva, Catalin Botezatu, Christoforos Kontentos , Elena Vorrea, Marcellos Nyktas, Natallie Mignon, Melina Pispa, Timis Parissis, Miltos, and Yannis Karitsiotis as well as a group of young designers from the University of Thessaloniki. The last event also included a fund raising gala benefiting the cancer charity AGALIAZO, with a runway show and auction conducted by Christie's of London.

Couture Fashion Week and Bridal Fashion Week are multi-day events showcasing luxury couture and fine fashion including eveningwear, elegant fashion, couture bridal as well as accessories. Attendees include upscale consumers, invited VIPs, the press and selected high-end store buyers. The events also include exhibits of luxury brands as well as entertainment and networking cocktail and after-parties. Venues include the world-famous Waldorf-Astoria and St. Regis Hotels in New York City.

In addition to its ongoing offering of unique branding opportunities for luxury products and services, Couture Fashion Week works in conjunction with lifestyle industry leaders around the world in offering attendance at the fashion shows as part of lavish travel and shopping experiences for those with exquisite tastes.
